I'm in PRSSA because I want to prepare myself for the future and broaden my knowledge of PR while networking with some amazing people!

I’m Nicole! I’m the Vice President of IUP’s chapter of PRSSA. I am a senior, majoring in journalism and public relations and minoring in marketing. Someday, (sooner rather than later) I hope to work for a major marketing agency and then eventually start my own business in my hometown. PRSSA has lead me to a lot of opportunities that have given me an understanding of the field, and where I fit into it.

Hi everyone! I’m Kayla, secretary and treasurer of IUP’s PRSSA chapter. I’m a senior, and I’m majoring in Journalism and Public Relations. I would love to work in sports PR because I love watching sports, especially football. I joined PRSSA because I wanted to meet and work with people with the same interests as myself and to help prepare myself for the future.

Hey!! My name is Nicole and I am a senior marketing major seeking a minor in journalism/public relations. I would love to work in a firm that focuses on different aspects like marketing, public relations, and advertising—so I can have the best of both worlds. In addition, a dream of mine would be to work in the NHL either as a marketing director or with a position in PR. I recently joined PRSSA this semester because one decision I regret in college is making journalism/public relations a minor and not a major so I am trying to get as much experience and knowledge in the industry as I can.

I’m Kristy, soon-to-be journalism and PR graduate. I fell in love with Public Relations pretty late in the game in my college career, but I instantly knew it was what I wanted to with my life. I went on to join PRSSA to expand my knowledge of the field, as well as work closely on PR projects and have networking opportunities. I'm so excited to work on IUP’s PRSSA social media this semester!
